Home! I walked from Paddington with backpack, attaché case & 2 (empty) suitcases. People must have thought me either very poor or a nut! It’s drizzling gently outside. There’s a bewildering stack of mail waiting! I’ve dealt with one or two items and will leave the rest until next week. Have missed the lottery again! Feel like getting on the next plane back to Portugal. Mavis spent ten mins sniffing around my suitcases & then demanded attention. I have tried to give him as much as I can afford but he feels a bit fobbed off. It’s a rough old world. I work Sunday and should have the early part of next week off! I’ll need it. Talk to you soon!
